These are just a few of the many collages I've made over the last few years exploring colour on a black background. The mood can be variously dark (the predominance of black) or vital (the dark background highlighting the brilliance of the colour elements). The collage - as is usually the case with me - recycles bits of previous, discarded paintings or collages.
